It’s been a season the Dallas Cowboys would love to forget, but one they’d also look to learn a lot of lessons from. And with the conclusion of the 2024 campaign following their regular season finale against the Washington Commanders, the full list of opponents for 2025 has materialized.

Outside of the usual NFC East suspects, at least two of those teams present a serious challenge to the Cowboys as Dallas looks to bounce back within the division and overall, they’ll face a bit of a gauntlet at home.

Needless to say, the Cowboys will be tested often to prove they can re-establish themselves as one of the best home teams in the NFL — something they were prior to a poor showing in 2024.

Jordan Love is returning to the scene of the playoff crime, and that’s not the only top tier non-NFC East quarterback who’ll catch a flight to Arlington. From Justin Herbert to Kyler Murray to Sam Darnold (or JJ McCarthy), the defensive unit will have their hands full.

And then there’s perennial all-universe quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who needs no introduction, in a matchup of fairly unfamiliar opponents when factoring in the two sides haven’t squared off since 2021; when the Chiefs took a 19-9 victory in Kansas City.

What stands out most here, however, are trips to Denver and Detroit, two very hostile environments that also happen to house a competitive team on the upswing and one who dominated the NFC this season, respectively. Added storylines there include Sean Payton battling a team he once coached, and Dan Campbell looking to establish some sort of dominance over a team he once played for.
