_Warriors Hold Off Late Rockets Comeback, Curry Leads the Way with 27 Points_

 

The Golden State Warriors were able to withstand a late comeback from the Houston Rockets, thanks in large part to the efforts of Stephen Curry. Curry dropped 27 points, including 5 three-pointers, to help the Warriors secure a 122-115 victory.

 

_Grading the Warriors Players:_

 

1. *Stephen Curry: A+* (27 points, 5-10 3PT, 6-8 FT) – Curry was his usual dominant self, scoring 27 points and dishing out 7 assists. He was able to get to the free throw line 8 times, converting 6 of those attempts.

2. *Klay Thompson: B+* (22 points, 4-10 3PT, 3-4 FT) – Thompson had a solid game, scoring 22 points and grabbing 5 rebounds. He was able to get to the free throw line 4 times, converting 3 of those attempts.

3. *Draymond Green: B* (12 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists) – Green had a well-rounded game, scoring 12 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and dishing out 7 assists. He was also able to get to the free throw line 6 times, converting 4 of those attempts.

4. *Andrew Wiggins: C+* (15 points, 5 rebounds) – Wiggins had a decent game, scoring 15 points and grabbing 5 rebounds. However, he struggled from three-point range, going 1-5.

5. *Kevon Looney: C* (10 points, 8 rebounds) – Looney had a solid game, scoring 10 points and grabbing 8 rebounds. However, he struggled with foul trouble, picking up 5 fouls in just 22 minutes of play.

6. *Jordan Poole: B-* (18 points, 3-7 3PT) – Poole had a solid game, scoring 18 points and dishing out 5 assists. He was able to get to the free throw line 4 times, converting 3 of those attempts.

7. *Donte DiVincenzo: C+* (8 points, 5 rebounds) – DiVincenzo had a decent game, scoring 8 points and grabbing 5 rebounds. However, he struggled from three-point range, going 1-4.

 

_What Went Right for the Warriors:_

 

1. The Warriors were able to move the ball effectively, with 30 assists on 43 made field goals.

2. Curry and Thompson were able to get hot from three-point range, combining for 9-20 from beyond the arc.

3. The Warriors were able to outrebound the Rockets, 48-42, including 12-10 on the offensive glass.

 

_What Went Wrong for the Warriors:_

 

1. The Warriors struggled with turnovers, committing 18 on the night.

2. The Warriors were unable to contain Kevin Porter Jr., who scored 32 points and dished out 8 assists.

3. The Warriors struggled with foul trouble, with Looney and Green both picking up 5 fouls.

 

_Game Recap:_

 

The Warriors came out strong in the first quarter, scoring 35 points and taking a 10-point lead. However, the Rockets were able to fight back in the second quarter, scoring 32 points and cutting the deficit to just 2 points at halftime.

 

In the third quarter, the Warriors were able to pull away, scoring 33 points and taking a 15-point lead. However, the Rockets were not ready to give up, and they came out strong in the fourth quarter, scoring 35 points and cutting the deficit to just 5 points with 2 minutes remaining.

 

However, Curry was able to take over in the final minutes, scoring 7 points and helping the Warriors secure the victory.
