Enzo Maresca has put his players through their paces ahead of a huge game this weekend. Aston Villa will host Chelsea at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon as the race for Champions League qualification builds a head of steam.

The Blues have lost each of their last two games, suffering defeats to Brighton in the FA Cup and the Premier League, so Maresca’s under pressure to turn things around. As for Aston Villa, they showed their top-four credentials in a dramatic 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Wednesday night.

While Unai Emery’s side may have a skip in their step, the West Londoners have had a week to recharge their batteries and prepare. So, with that being said, football.london has looked at five things that you may have missed from Chelsea training this week.

Josh Acheampong and Tyrique George continue to be heavily involved in first-team training at Cobham. The duo haven’t been afraid to get stuck in as Maresca explores ways to transform the Blues’ fortunes.

Robert Sanchez has gone bald, so that means two things. The Chelsea goalkeeper either just fancied a new look, or he went to extreme lengths to win over Maresca in an effort to get back into the starting lineup.

Maresca’s choice of teams in one particular drill could hint at who starts for Chelsea at the weekend. Levi Colwill, Malo Gusto, Christopher Nkunku, Cole Palmer and Reece James were spotted wearing pink bibs, while Marc Cucurella, Tosin Adarabioyo, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Trevoh Chalobah and Enzo Fernandez went without.
