Orlando Pirates prepare offer for shock transfer target.
Orlando Pirates are believed to be ready to unearth yet another shock signing in the same mould as Thalente Mbatha at the end of the season.
The Orlando Pirates are moving ahead with their transfer plans for next season, with a fresh target identified.
Pirates were busy in the January transfer window, signing Talent Mbatha and Thabiso Lebitso.
Pirates have already been linked with various players for the upcoming season in order to strengthen their roster. Long-term targets include Riaan Hanamub and Shaune Mogaila. Then there were new targets, including Stanley Nwabali, Shandre Campbell, Velemseni Ndwandwe, Tshepang Moremi, Oswin Appollis, and Andy Boyeli.
Pirates defeated Hungry Lions 4-0 over the weekend, advancing to the Nedbank Cup quarterfinals. Despite the fact that the visitors did little to disturb the Buccaneers, they did not receive much credit. It appears that one player has emerged from there and impressed. Muzomuhle Khanyi, who came on as a substitute in the second half.
Earlier last week, our magazine revealed that pirates were watching Khanyi. According to Soccer-Laduma, the Buccaneers are considering making an offer soon.
“The Pirates have been watching Muzomuhle Khanyi’s progress and will continue to do so until the end of the season. He is a talented young man with enormous potential. Depending on his performance in the remaining games of the season, the Pirates may make an offer to sign him. The club is planning for the future, which is why several players were signed from the NFD.” Said the source.
