Fulham have reportedly tabled an £6.85m offer for VfB Stuttgart winger Silas – but the Bundesliga runners-up are believed to wanting double that amount to let him leave this summer.
The Cottagers have held a long-standing interest in the 25 year-old, having seen an audacious loan move for the DR Congo international rejected in February. The highly-rated versatile forward has enjoyed an outstanding season for Sebastian Sebastian Hoeness’ side, scoring seven goals and adding five assists in thirty appearances across all competitions.
Silas, who has scored 35 goals in 129 games in five years with Stuttgart, whom he helped win promotion back to the Bundesliga in his first season following a move from Paris FC. It remains to be seen whether the Whites will match Die Roten‘s rumoured £13m asking price for one of the hottest talents in Europe.
this typical Tony Khan and is straight out of the Levy handbook. Make offers at half the value of the player there by insulting the selling club. Until Khan is removed from transfer
dealings Fulham will never get quality players needed to improve the team.
We need to buy Chalaboh from Chelsea as a central defender now and pay the £25M worth every penny and Neilsson from the Turkish club for £14M another centre back. Try and get Tierney from Arsenal as a full back and Andre from the Brazilian club.
These are the type of quality players we need to establish ourselves as a major force in the Premiership.
However, with Tony Khan we will limp along, hoping to keep in the Premiership more by luck than as a deserved team.
Liverpool target Antonee Robinson has admitted that he could leave Fulham if the club’s asking price is met.
The left-back has spent the last four years as a Fulham player after completing a move from Wigan Athletic in 2020.
Robinson helped the club win promotion from the Championship in 2021-22, before playing his part in Fulham’s top-half finish in 2022-23.
The United States international continued to be a regular fixture in the 2023-24 campaign, starting all 37 of his Premier League appearances.
While he is regarded as a key figure in the Fulham squad, there is currently uncertainty surrounding his future at Craven Cottage.
