However, now any financial concerns have been put behind them, Everton are able to focus on bolstering their squad for the upcoming campaign.

The Merseyside club ended the 2023/24 campaign with one of the best defensive records in the campaign.

This is probably why Everton have focused largely on improving their attack in the early stages of this summer’s window and that could be set to continue.

Fabrizio Romano has now provided an update out of Goodison Park with the Blues having opened talks over a potential third addition.

Everton have began talks for third summer signing

Already this summer, Everton have made the signing of striker Iliman Ndiaye following a disappointing campaign from the current strikers at the club last time out.

And Dyche has also seen a new midfielder come through the doors in the form of Tim Iroegbunam from Aston Villa.

Now, it seems the Toffees are looking to bring in another winger with the Blues now pushing on in their search for their third signing of the summer.

According to Romano, Everton have now opened talks with Napoli over the potential signing of Jesper Lindstrom.

In a positive update for Everton fans, negotiations are said to be well underway with the Serie A outfit open to selling the 24-year-old.

However, the Italian side are said to be looking for a good offer for their Danish winger in order to sell this summer.

The 24-year-old Danish winger has now been playing his football in Naples for only 12 months having made the move to Italy last summer.

Prior to Napoli, Lindstrom was playing in the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt where his former teammate Kevin Trapp had glowing words to say about him.

“Jesper is very young and came from a different league. The Bundesliga is a tougher league than the Danish league, you have to get used to it.,” he told the media.
