Contract rebel linked to Coventry City nears end to months of uncertainty about his future
Coventry City transfer news from CoventryLive as defensive midfielder linked to Sky Blues looks set for German move
Reported Coventry City transfer target Andrian Kraev appears to be edging towards securing himself a new club, ending months of uncertainty about his future.
The Sky Blues were linked with the 25-year-old holding midfielder earlier this year when Sportal.bg claimed the club were one of three English Championship sides, along with play-off rivals Hull City and mid-table Middlesbrough, who were “monitoring the situation” around the Levski Sofia player who is now a free agent after running down his contract.
Forced to train with the youth team since January, the contract rebel is now hoping to secure a move to Germany where he has been the subject of inquiries from the second division Hannover 96 and Hamburger SV.

However, liga-zwei report he could be the “right candidate” for the defensive midfield of FC Kaiserslautern. It says that in keeping with reports from several Bulgarian media outlets, promising talks are underway between the FCK and Kraev’s management, and says the Red Devils are said to be offering the right-footer a two-year contract.
After a patchy season in the Championship things went well and truly off the boil from the beginning of March with no wins in the last eleven games after the 13th. The previous mid-table position deteriorated markedly and City finished the season safe but nineteenth out of the 24 clubs.
