Young archer Johnny Smart won his first ever National Tour stage after beating Roger Castillo-Alquezar in the gold final 6-4. The winner of the women’s category was Louisa Piper, who defeated Natasha Homer in the last match of the day 6-2.

Johnny told us: “It’s not really hit me yet I don’t think. I’m very happy. When I turned up today, I didn’t really expect anything amazing. I’ve only just come back from the European Youth Championships, so there’s no pressure, but I’m really happy with this result.
