Newcastle United sent Marc Guehi fitness message as Oliver Glasner shows Crystal Palace hand

The Magpies have had two bids knocked back for the England international, with Palace reportedly holding out for a fee in the region of £65m. As things stand, the two parties are still some way apart in their valuations of the centre-half, but Newcastle are still confident they can strike a deal.

Oliver Glasner started Guehi for the first time in pre-season, after the 24-year-old was given an extended break due to his endeavours with England at this summer’s Euro 2024 campaign.
