Ephron Mason-Clark is loving life at the beginning of his spell with Coventry City, which he is aiming to ensure will be a long and fruitful one. Winger Mason-Clark joined the club last January but remained with former club Peterborough United until this summer, when he joined up with a side which had narrowly missed out on a Championship play-off place.
Mason-Clark, who turns 25 at the end of this month, scored an impressive 19 goals and produced a further 14 assists across a staggering 56-game season for Posh last season, but he has declared himself ready for a step up to the Championship after setting League One alight.
He has joined an existing squad already packed with talent and, despite the Sky Blues losing the out of contract Callum O’Hare on a free transfer, Mark Robins and the club’s recruitment team have been hard at work and added Brandon Thomas-Asante, Jack Rudoni, Raphael Borges Rodrigues and goalkeeper Oliver Dovin, as well as re-signing Luis Binks permanently.

Mason-Clark knows the expectations on the shoulders of the City squad, which has been recognised by many pundits and neutrals as the one to watch this season, but he insists he and the group are ready for the challenge as he prepares to test himself at a higher level.
“I’m loving it,” Mason-Clark said. “I’m just getting used to everything on and off the pitch. At the moment I’m enjoying it a lot. I was anxious to start, but it did give me and my family the time to get prepared for the next stage.
