Joachim Andersen makes up mind on Fulham move after offer – sources

Fulham top target Joachim Andersen is content at Crystal Palace amid speculation over his future, sources have told Football Insider.

Football Insider revealed on Monday (12 August) that the Cottagers have launched a £20million swoop to bring the 28-year-old back to the club – but will not be successful at that price.

Additionally, Palace are unwilling to sell Andersen with Marc Guehi a big-money target for Newcastle.The Denmark international could be next in line for the captaincy after filling in for Guehi in the latter stages of the 2023-24 campaign.

Sources say Andersen is happy to remain at Palace and wait for a bigger club to come in for him if his impressive performances continue.He spent the 2020-21 campaign on loan at Fulham, but he is not currently considering a return to Craven Cottage.

Andersen joined the Croydon outfit for a reported fee of more than £17million three years ago and is under contract until June 2026.
