Everton have agreed ‘great’ off-pitch deal – Keith Wyness

Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness has hailed the “great” new partnership between the club and American catering giant Aramark.

Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the 66-year-old – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – claimed the numbers will be “very good” as the Toffees put together their offering for fans in the club’s new stadium.

Everton revealed on 8 August that Aramark UK has committed to helping turn the club’s new stadium into “one of the most revolutionary and advanced venues for fan experience in Europe”.

The partnership will begin in 2025, when the club’s new waterfront home is due to open.

It is claimed more than 1,200 new roles will be created at Everton Stadium by Aramark’s introduction.

The US-founded company work on food and drink at high-profile North American venues as well as at top football stadiums in Europe like Berlin’s Olympiastadion and Madrid’s Cívitas Metropolitano.

“Although the football isn’t booked in until next year, there will be a lot of test events between Christmas and then.A lot of business will be going on at the new ground.

“They have to get up and running and ready to go for when the 2025-26 season starts.

“Everton need to make sure everything is spot on.Aramark have got a big reputation around the world for what they’ve done, they’re innovative.I know they’ll see the value in having a new stadium like Everton in their stable.
